		<description>Isaac - yes, I believe you are right.  More businesses are started by women, but typically the ones the produce fabulous wealth for the founder and others are led by men.  They seem to traditionally have a better home support network.  But that&#039;s changing.</description>

My hypothesis is that more women than men start businesses in general (although I doubt that&#039;s true in the developed world.)  The reason I think this might be true:  in more &quot;traditional&quot; societies, women often *have* to create their own loci of economic activity, as they can&#039;t slot into a pre-existing one.</description>
